How do I suppress the Page Break when printing Mailsort labels?
Summary
The Mailsort “Formatted Labels” option is provided for the intent of printing sheets of labels in a pre-designed format. As such, it is not correct as provided for continuous printing, where there are no individual pages.
Solution
By default, Mailsort prints a Page Break character at the end of every sheet of labels.
To suppress this Page Break, insert the following in the configuration file qamsort.ini:
LabelsDown=-1
You will have to do this via the Keyword Editor or edit the configuration file directly, as the Formatted Labels design screen will not allow this value to be entered.
This will suppress the form feed by indicating that all the labels are to be printed upon a single page.
Please note: A file with more than 24,000 records will not run through with this setting.
