How can I configure QuickAddress Nearest to consider locations on the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man?

QuickAddress Nearest cannot accurately perform ‘nearest’ calculations on locations in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. The reason for this is that the calculation is based upon a grid reference file, which presently contains no information for these locations.

However all postcodes in these locations, (GY, JE and IM) can be assigned a single grid reference and although the calculation will not be as accurate, it will be possible. To do this, make add the following lines to the nearest.ini configuration file:

After the .ini file has be saved, new Nearest processes (calculations and file builds) will consider the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man.
