Differences between Experian QAS UK and GBR data sets

This document discusses the difference between the UK and GBR data sets. Despite them both relating to Address / Names / Business data from the United Kingdom, they are not identical.
The difference between the UK and GBR data sets lies in their compatibility with various Experian QAS product lines.
UK Data Sets
UK data sets are only compatible with products from the QAS UK product line, for example, QAS Pro UK 3.15. All data sets compatible with this product line are updated as part of the UK update cycle.
NB - The GBR data set and update cycle is completely different and not compatible with the QAS UK product line.
The following are QAS UK product line data sets:
- QAS UK Address data
- QAS UK Names data
- QAS UK Business data
They are all shipped together as part of the United Kingdom (UK) data update. See the data release schedule for more information.
The following are QAS UK product line products:

- Pro Web UK
- Batch UK
- Rapid UK
- NameTracer
- DataPlus Builder
- Mailsort
- Nearest
- Nearest Web
- Listbuilder
- Locator

- Mailsort
- Validator
GBR data sets
GBR data sets are only compatible with products from the QAS World (V4 and later) and V3/V2 World product lines, for example, QAS Pro 6.10. These product lines permit access to a large number of international data sets such as USA and Australia.
NB - The QAS GBR data set and update cycle is completely different and not compatible with the QAS UK product line.
The following are QAS World GBR data sets:
- QAS GBR Address data (GBR)
- QAS GBR Names data (GBN)
- QAS GBR Business data (GBB)
