Experian QAS Pro On Demand Changes – Potential Action Required

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our infrastructure and providing you with the most reliable and performing service, we wanted to make you aware of upcoming changes that may impact your organization.

On the 17th February we communicated to you about a change to our SSL certificates, to inform of a change to the provider we are using. On the 11th during the implementation of these SSL certificates we identified an issue and as a result rolled the change back to the original SSL certificate and have contacted the supplier to resolve the issue.

This issue has now been resolved as we will be making the changes to our SSL certificates on the 25th of March between the hours of 21:00 – 22:00 GMT. As a result of the fix we were required to regenerate the certificate for our main Pro On Demand endpoint. This updated certificate is now available through the link below.

Depending on your own infrastructure, you may need to make changes to ensure continued service.

What?

Upgrade of our server SSL certificates from 1024bit to 2048bit to increase security and maintain industry best practice. These certificates are used to secure all our HTTPS Portal Web Sites and Web Services, including QAS Pro On Demand and QAS for Enterprise hosted services.

When?

The changes are due to go ahead during planned maintenance window:
Sunday 25th of March between the hours of 21:00 – 22:00 GMT

What you need to do

Ensure your servers and applications have access to the upgraded certificates provided by our certification authority, Entrust Certificate Authority (2048) (http://www.entrust.net/developer/index.cfm).

You will also need to ensure you have access to the Experian Intermediate Authorities provided by Entrust on behalf of Experian.

Alternatively you can download the certificates manually from the following locations -
